ORAL B | PRICELINE $44.99
I have been using this for over a month now, and to be honest I have not been consistent with the application. Results will vary from person to person, depending on ones’ stains. For me, I do not see a major difference though there is a slight colour change to white after each usage.
What I love about the strips is that it is quite thin, very flexible, so after a few seconds you almost feel nothing is on. Moulding perfectly to the shape of your teeth. It may taste a little funny at the start, because of the tooth whitening gel. It does contain hydrogen peroxide, so be wary if you have very sensitive teeth/gums. I use mine once a day for 30 minutes, but if you want best results, use twice a day and complete 2 packs.
POND’S | PRICELINE $25.99
I have not tried this cream under make-up as of yet, but I have been using it consistently on days where I do not wear make-up. Even when I am just indoors for the whole day, I love how it keeps my skin moist and balanced throughout.
It is not like any other cream, it feels almost like a primer but a tad creamier. Since using it, I find that my dark spots has faded, as well as further brightening my complexion. The day cream is also scentless which is perfect. For me, a little dab here and there covers the face beautifully.

SUKIN | PRICELINE $7.99
You very well can tell, I had this product a while back. Just look at these grainy shots haha.
For this size, I’m surprised it was only $7.99 but I do like their saying “skincare that doesn’t cost the earth”. Made out of Micellar water, for more info what Micellar is click here, it is used to remove makeup and other impurities of your skin.
Chamomile and cucumber are wonderful on sensitive skin types, leaving it irritant-free and soft. Be sure to skin test it prior to use. The downside for me, is that it requires a few more swipes to remove the makeup. Also, though it says “suitable for waterproof” products, I do find myself reaching to more stronger products to remove.
THURDAY PLANTATION | PRICELINE | AMAZON
I have been hearing the most naturally used source to fight off acne and pimples, is by using tea tree oil. I went ahead a picked a brand I was familiar with and tried Tea Tree Medicated Gel For Acne.
I personally have mixed feelings towards this product. First off, after 2 – 3 applications of the product I do find my pimples to lessen in size and redness. However, I do feel that it over-drys the area and mind you I only put a little. The smell is a bit too strong, I highly recommend you to apply at night. It is a good product for a quick remedy, but there are better products out there to control your problematic areas.
Formula 10.0.6 US | Priceline $5.99
When you forget to strip them dirt and oil from your pores, you need a quick fix. I looked around for a brand in Priceline which I have not tried before, also a strip that has soothing properties. Formula 10.0.6 is an American skin brand operating since 1933.
It is your usually strip, both sides are white, where the shiny-side presses down onto your nose. Offering 6 individual strips, the kaolin absorbs the dirt and oils whilst the tea tree detoxifies the aftermath. I find these strips more than average, in terms of absorbing dirt and oil. The strips has definitely picked up 80% of the nasties.
Thursday Plantation | Priceline $9.99
I have heard about the nature’s powerful antibacterial oil, which is tea tree. I have been meaning to use a regime that incorporates tea tree, and I found this potent bottle in Priceline.
I use two drops on a cotton pad and gently wiping it all over my face, after initially washing it. With the mix of witch hazel, I can immediately feel the purification and pore tightening. It does not dry my skin out and after a long day exposed to the outdoors, you can feel and see the excess oil and other nasties being removed. I recommend this product, especially in these warmer months. I use it in my nightly regime, since I do find the scent too overpowering for the day-time.
Sanctuary Spa | Priceline $19.99
A beautiful, simple bottle that does a moderate job of cleansing my face. I use this, both as a make-up remover and cleanser as oils are one of the best, natural ways of removing one’s day-face.
The oils used, such as avocado, jojoba and lavender oils were not harsh for my skin. You basically need a pump or two to use, as the oils are quite thick and can be spread easily throughout. I do find that the oils remove makeup great, after massaging and working the oils into the skin. After using this potent cleanser, my skin feels so soft! The downfall for me is that, my skin gets very oily the next day. I am not 100% sure if it’s because of this product, but I have stopped using it during the warmer season.
Maybelline | Priceline $7.47
The ivory colour is just beautiful, a bit lighter when applied, though it definitely will bring a lighter shade on areas you applied. The issue with this product for me was though it definitely brightened the areas, the formula was absolutely not working for my skin. It is a heavy liquid-base formula, quite thick in my opinion. My experience, the formula, though it helped conceal it just did not want to blend well with my skin. So it would crease and came off patchy.
Maybe, for some others they may not have the experience like me, but mind you my skin was scrubbed before application. The casing is beautiful, glam and the wand is quite fluffy. For me, after using it twice I have now abandoned it somewhere in my drawers…
Clearasil | Priceline $14.49
I use this product after cleansing and toning my face, you have to have a clean base to allow the cream to sink in and do its work. It is not a miracle cream, though initially I thought it would 100% get rid of the nasty pimples that have been appearing.
I use it before bed and during days when I wear no make-up, this allows the cream to not get covered by foundations. Allowing breathing time. After placing a thin layer onto the pimple, before bed, the next day it visibly reduces the redness. Not entirely, but reduction of redness is seen. I have used it on the same spot for about 3-4 days ongoing, the pimple doesn’t disappear but it does reduce the size. I recommend this for a quick fix.
Aveeno $12.99 || Priceline
When there’s naturals involved, you’ve got me hooked! Using the essences of lavender, chamomile and ylang-ylang, sounds amazing already, truly brings out that calming qualities and it is transfered onto you.
Just make sure you place a good amount, as it does leave a few spots uncovered. Either than that, it is light-weight, non-sticky and holds moisturising levels up to roughly for me about 12+ hours. Colloidal oatmeal is also used in this soothing mix. It feels amazing especially when you apply it straight from having a shower and before bed. The lotion is a wonderful de-stressor after a long week.
