6/2 The biggest struggle I’ve had in completing an undergraduate degree, is the lack of support from close “adults”. I am the type of student that requires undivided attention when completing a task. The reason why my previous degree took the longest time to finish, was because of the immense pressure for me to work. With this new undergrad degree, I have decided to drop my hours of work to casual, and take up volunteering. This allowed me to dedicate more time to my study, without the pressure to work at places that’s not even related to my degree. I’m not sure if there are other people who have faced this? But I do want to hear from your side. I get it, there are some cases where you need to work to live, but in my case I was in a situation where I can be supported. But academically, I was not supported. I would hate to look back, see that I could’ve finish the degree earlier and worked somewhere in line with my passion, at the same time generating an income. By taking this route, I have limited the number of years where I could have established myself, career-wise and financially.
8/2 Spent a quick day out at Potts Point Hotel yesterday, for lunch. Ditched the Lunar Markets, for an earlier cheat meal day! The weather was perfect, not humid at Kings Cross, which made the sun bearable throughout the afternoon. I will now tackle on a drama review, wish me luck!

23/1 Dang woke up too late today! I should get the habit of rolling over to my phone off, just cause I stay in bed longer. That habit is not a great start for the rest of the day. I planned to get up at 6:30am to get a HIT workout done, before the heat picks up. Any tips on consistently waking up in the morning? I find it easier to wake up if I have work or a planned appointment, but if it is an activity that is not compulsory then I’ll stay in bed.
25/1 Got my mum’s dinner tonight at Fratelli Fresh, and I’ve got my eyes on the crispy pork belly. Squeezed a bit of work out this morning, since last night I ate a bit too much of carby stuff. Anyways, I’ve started watching this new crime documentary that was recently dropped on Netflix. It’s on the infamous Ted Bundy case. The first episode got me wanting for more.
4/2 Got from a hike today, taking on a medium trek called the Overcliff and Undercliff. Now just at home watching the Super Bowl.

15/01 Back to the grind, though it was brief it was great to get out and do something. Other than uni work, this was refreshing. I got myself a new study diary for this year, I thought it would be efficient to separate a planner for everyday life and my study life. It’s a cute little planner from kikki. K, and I am honestly confused on how to make it colourful! I never had the knack of art journalling or scrapbook making.
17/01 I’ve been been obsessed with sugar the past few months, mainly stress eating. I think ever since working in that previous role, the toxic encounters were mentally draining which also affected my physic. So glad I quit. I’ve got a long way to go, in going back to the portion size I used to eat. So far I have been experimenting with alternatives, such as choosing ‘Loving Earth‘ chocolates and other brands, dedicated to natural and less preservative ingredients. It is however financially straining and I do believe healthier food options, are really more accessible to the privileged. Sadly. It is definitely crazy to see this lifestyle or necessity, only reached by those who have the financial means.
18/01 Another 30+ degree day. So insanely hot and humid that my brain went on a major shutdown, so instead of ticking off things I had to do today, ending up sleeping through the afternoon. Fingers crossed I don’t do the same thing tomorrow.
19/01 Yay it’s cooler today! Taking the day by sleeping in, sipping on a creamy latte and munching down on a kit kat, milk chocolate topped soft pretzel. Mr. Pretzels has got some soft and tasty goodies. Still cutting down 500+ words for this assignment.

29/12 So I am sitting here working on assignment two for one of my subjects, with the air-conditioning on full blast. Not my ideal summer, but would love to get this degree wrapped up by the end of 2020. E and I purchased a nutribullet, can’t wait to try out all them juices and smoothies! I have this stomach problem, and I can’t seem to pinpoint what food is upsetting me. I know too much acidity levels can irritate my stomach lining, but if only I can pinpoint specifically what foods to avoid. Oh and actually stick to avoiding it.
31/12 So today is New Year’s Eve! That’s so crazy, Halloween and Christmas is still fresh in my mind and the new year is already knocking on the door. Today’s plan is to get some food for tonight, I think there’s a boxing match later on. Probably squeeze in some university work and then sleep. I weirdly decided to work on New Year’s day, fortunately it’s in the evening though. Hope you all had an awesome New Year’s Eve.

18/11 I seem to always greet a new blog post by saying how long it has been. Which is both frustrating and funny. I tell myself over and over again to keep my blog alive, but to no avail. The goal is still there.
A lot has happened and a lot has been accomplished. One I’ll quickly highlight is the creation of another blog, dedicated specially to my professional development ‘CURIOUS ARCHIVE‘. I thought of creating a public blog, that would both capture my experiences and also sheds light to the profession, for seasoned and unseasoned information professionals. I’ll talk about it more in the other blog.
Fantastic Beasts 2 was a fun watch! It is definitely more on the darker side, a new character revelation was unexpected and has thrown all my knowledge off the boat and I’d say is more targeted towards people who are fans of Harry Potter.

15/4 Cannot take a person seriously, if they are still currently cheating on their supposed “love”. His/her partner is manipulated into the reality he/she is creating. If you decide to give ‘advice’ be sure to check yourself and don’t try to fix another person’s relationship. It is disgusting that you would go that far and assume that since a person is not revealing, say their bank account, it makes them suspicious? Like you and everyone else in the world, there are just somethings an individual would like to keep for themselves. What a mentality to have ffs. If it works for a couple then go-ahead, but bear in mind its not a pre-requsite in a relationship and/or marriage. Suspicious, you liar.
I hope you feel awesome that you gave “advice” and tried to “help” your friend out. Those slimy comforting words of assuring him/her of what they are feeling is alright and his/her partner is the problem here.
MIND YOUR OWN GODDAMN BUSINESS it’s funny when you don’t communicate with them anymore, that’s when they start assuming your life, intentions, personality, etc. I know myself better than you do. Mind you, I know that disgusting side of yours and your partner doesn’t. Oh wait, maybe they do know?
