“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
– Laurence Binyon
25/4 It’s ANZAC Day again, well this year is going fast. Heading out for dinner later at Muum Maam, I wonder how that’s pronounced. I opted to skip out on breakfast and lunch, so I can feel excited for tonight’s meal. But definitely not skipping out on coffee today, I need it. I trying to start on assignment 3 for on of the units, it is always difficult in getting it started. So here I am writing an entry.
26/4 A bit more energy today, it may be because of a good workout I had this morning, the weather is perfect, got a great brew of coffee or maybe it was the amazing cocktail last night haha. Anyways it is 3:29pm, just got out of the shower, cooked brunch and watched a few Aussie vloggers. Should I start vlogging? To be honest though, not much goes through my day to day life and I don’t feel too comfortable on camera. My partner is though, which reminds me I should be editing the third part of his America trip.
I’ve also jumped on the Audible wagon, loving it so far! I was honestly hesitant in committing to audiobooks, just because I love reading stories on paper. It is really a game-changer, it’s great when travelling to and from work/events/places and you want to squeeze in a book. One of my goals is to get reading again and by listening to books, it is not only convenient, but also enjoyable. I don’t have to bring around a clunky book, mind you my bag is super small. The first audiobook I have and currently reading is Michelle Obama’s Becoming. I’ll write a review on it when I’m done!
29/4 Today I experienced the most stressful, yet brilliantly delivered, television show ever. GOT’s season 8, episode 3 was a heck of an episode, the viewers were gifted with a blockbuster, where characters were given full redemption, fought with courage and bravery. Who knew this episode was filled with women heroes, who made the biggest impact. I honestly found Jon Snow, entirely useless, same with the Onion Knight, Danny, Sam, Bran and the people in the crypts. HONESTLY jump on the Game of Thrones bandwagon, if you have not yet done so!
I have not cried at all *SPOILERS* in this show, not even during the Red Wedding. But when Theon finally heard the words he needed to hear and given his complete arc… then bravely charged ahead and died. I lost it. His character hands down, had the most dramatic development and in the end, I am sure we were ALL rooting for him. It’s making me teary again, thinking about his redemption.
