Gimme Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel

Using the tiny micro fibers, for example with my eyebrows a few strokes is applied, to keep it tame throughout the day. Water-resistant to be exact sweat-resistant, it also tints and volumizes.

Also, a few more strokes on sparse areas visibly adds thicker looking eyebrows! It is easily build-able with the added conditioning benefits, which comes from vitamin B5 and marshmallow extract. The tapered brush is brilliant as it creates precision for shaping.

Travel Brow Kit

Anastasia Sephora $23

Convenient and holds three essential tools to keep your brows looking fly, Anastasia’s travel brow kit is a perfect on-the-go. Contains three minis – tweezers, brow wiz and a clear brow gel.

I find the tweezers to be beautifully made, though too small for me to hold. I grow out my nails, so it is a bit awkward for me to use this size. The brow wiz contains a small amount of pencil to let you experience one of Anastasia’s best-sellers, you can achieve natural fills and it is also smear-proof. Just be careful, the lead has disappeared on me, literally fell from its container. The brow gel on the other hand, is my all time favourite. I use it on the daily, it has a cooling effect (using Camomile)  and maintains my brows by keeping it refined throughout the day.

Oh Hai Brows

Australis $16.95 || Priceline

I’ve been sucked into the art of defining and refining my eyebrows, through the means of wax and powder. This added method into my everyday look, has really helped brighten my look. In other words, my brows doesn’t look oddly isolated.

I’ve actually never heard of this brand before, but I’ve seen it quite often at Priceline, which is where I bought it. For a beginner like me, with this whole brow business, this little kit is such a helper! It has two basic shades, I use the dark brow powder, contains wax and a brow highlighter.

When I apply it, it goes on so smoothly and lasts all day. I naturally have black eyebrows, but the dark brown powder actually turns out looking natural on me. Obviously, you can see I have powder on, but it isn’t flaky. I love that the kit is also equipped with tweezers and a double-ended applicator so no need to buy more brushes! Oh, and for you brow-newbies like me the kit includes an instruction booklet.

Brow Power

I’ve now incorporated brow pencil application into my make-up regime, and this ‘universal eyebrow pencil’ is amaze! I bought it at Sephora, whilst checking out.

It Cosmetics $18 (paraben-free, cruelty-free, etc)

This would be my first product purchase from It Cosmetics and without doubt after using this product, I am definitely purchasing another from this brand. So back to this product, what captured my attention was the fact that it had one colour… and impressively its one colour adjusts to your brow colour. You do this by either lightly drawing (lighter colour) or pressing it down more for darker hair types.

I’ve read some reviews saying it was difficult to match their eye brow colour, but for me it fits my colour hair type (dark brown to black). For me it’s a great colour filler that lasts for a good 24-hours, water-proof and smudge-proof (I have a habit to rub my face when I get tired). I  sometimes would skip brown powder, because after using the spooley brush which is attached to the other tip of the pencil, it comes out looking refined and natural.

Yeah I know, I need to get it threaded asap

Aside from the brow enhancing effects it also conditions your eyebrows, using as such; Vitamins A, C, Green Tea, Grape Seed, and other anti-aging ingredients. I have been using it everyday, so far so good! For it’s price, you definitely get a good package deal.
