“I think that my job is to observe people and the world, and not to judge them. I always hope to position myself away from so-called conclusions. I would like to leave everything wide open to all the possibilities in the world.”
― Haruki Murakami

29/7 : I thought I was going to be okay juggling full-time with full-time studies, but I won’t be able to. I will be highly likely compromising my quality in my studies, which will suck. So I decided to turn down my hours at work and focus on my work. It is going to feel weird not working much, but it’s going to be great having more time to myself! Just came back from watching War for the Planet of the Apes, I might be biased but the movie was just as awesome as the previous ones. I found the ending highly satisfying, and they have confirmed the 4th installment!

30/7 : Sunday work also goes breezy which is great. I did unfortunately had a tough couple who was not rude, but ultimately demanding. Just to let you know, I would hate to be part of their social clique. I have a work meeting tomorrow, fingers crossed that it does not go overtime like last. I just encountered a stereotype, where I told someone that I got a certain mark in statistics, and they said “Oh it’s cause you’re Asian”.

2/8 : I will be posting my first text book sale tomorrow, via eBay. Hopefully it gets its buyer soon! At the moment I have heaps of text books that needs a new owner. It is kind of sad that after using it for a semester, it is set aside.

3/8 : I find that people have so much more to criticise another than to provide praise. It is super apparent at the place I am in and it isn’t nice to see. Higher positioned people praises another high positioned individual, but overlooks a front of house staff. Sad, but it is a common reality. If I could, I would be praising each individual regardless of the status of power.

9/8 : Skip of days again. So far it has been great having more time to myself, but it also means less pay. That is why I am on another job search, but targeting more into the information field *fingers crossed*. I have been looking a volunteering jobs, just to get the skills required. It is a constant game. I had a great catch up with an old work mate last night, and I am excited for her career progression! Met up with another old mate and it is always chill and fun to hang out with her, we visited to Tramsheds Harold Park.
