“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

– Eleanor Roosevelt

I am so glad I took the introductory sabre fencing class. It got me out of my shell, out of my endless and constant routine of eat, work and sleep. Having that extra curriculum, got me to explore my other interests and skills I can obtain. You guys should check them out – click here. What I found really difficult at the start is the stance and being quick with that stance. It was really awesome, having me moving about more than usual and really got my heart pumping.

What did you all do for Christmas and NY? Since I work in the entertainment/service sector, it doesn’t sleep so I had to work on these days. I chose to stay local and watch the epic Sydney fireworks from the comfort of my home. If you have not done so, you can find a youtube video showcasing Sydney’s fireworks this year (one of the world’s best)! The train station was a ghost town on New Year’s day but in the city was a different story.
